Click on the title below to locate the documents. 1. A Plain Account of Christian Perfection by John Wesley, 1767. 2. The Way of Holiness With Notes By the Way by Phoebe Palmer, 1849.

Communicating with Spoken and Written Language

Click here to download PowerPoint slides of teaching resources (student guide pages) for Communicating with Spoken and Written Language. Resource are contained in a single zipped file. Save the file to a folder on your harddrive then double-click the file name to extract the documents. You will find one PowerPoint presentation for each lesson. In cases where a single resource contained too much information for a single slide, an Acrobat document (pdf) is hyperlinked to the PowerPoint slide. When you are ready for the next slide, close the Acrobat document and the PowerPoint presentation will continue.

Developing Youth Ministry

Lesson 18 requires students to listen to the August 28, 2008 Trevecca Nazarene University chapel address. Dr. Tim Green compared the Christian life as running in a relay race. Each person must run their part of the race and pass the baton of the gospel to the next person. The chapel service took place about two weeks following the 2008 Bejing Olympics in which the USA men's and women's relay teams were expected to medal. In their respective races each of the two teams dropped the baton as it was being passed from one runner to the next. Both teams were immediately disqualified. Videos of the races may be available on You Tube.
